Project Period Dignity
Ubuntu Australia, through its Project ‘Period Dignity’ provides free period products to female high school students in WA.
We believe that female sanitary products should be provided free to high school students. These products are a necessity, not a luxury, and it should be accessible to all students. Doing so would reduce stigma, improve health and wellbeing and bring down student absences.
Project ‘Period Dignity’ currently supports 600 female students from two high schools in the City of Gosnells.
